A few simple steps can help:

1. Make sure you store medicine in a locked cabinet out of the sight and reach of your children.
2. Never leave your medicine sitting out or in sight for them to reach it.
3. Get rid of your old medicine in a way your children cannot reach it. 
4. Robitussin^® may taste good but make sure your child knows it is medicine first – not candy.
